Mount Barker

Wilson Park / Bonnyup Street Park Wilson Park (together with the adjoining Bonnyup Street Park) is the primary park area in Mount Barker. It is located on Lowood Road, adjacent to the Shire of Plantagenet Administration Office. The park's advantages include its central location, passive security options and large landmass. Current infrastructure within the park is planned for upgrading. Stage one, proposed for 2008/2009, will include the construction of a central toilet block. Stage 2 is proposed to include the upgrade of the playground area and equipment.
Centennial Park This park is located on Albany Highway at the junction of Memorial Avenue. It encompasses the war memorial and is the venue for the the Mount Barker community fair due to be held again in 2009. The Shire has recently conducted a playground safety audit, resulting in the planning phase to upgrade Wilson Park, linking through to Centennial Park.
Apex Park Apex Park is located on Albany Highway near the Shire's swimming pool. It comprioses mostly open space and some playground equipment.
Viv Skinner Park Viv Skinner Park is an area of public open space on Muir Street, Mount Barker.
