New Home and Community Care Facility
The proposal for a new Home and Community Care (HACC) facility has been mooted for some time and the Council has held State Government grant funding in Trust for this project.
In 2007/08 the Council has approved the development application and accepted a tender from Ausco Building Systems to supply and deliver a transportable building adjacent to the Lesser Hall, Mount Barker for this purpose at a cost of $421,050.
As at January 2009, the building is nearing completion.
