Every Dog Has Its Day

Reading with your best friend is a great way to pass the time.  The ‘Read Between The Lines’ Book Club members got to take it a step further, with an opportunity to read to some Furry Best Friends

The Read Between the Lines Book Club meets at the Mount Barker Library once a month.  The group of 8 – 12 year olds discuss their latest book and then work through a challenge associated with that book.  During Magic Month the Clubbers got to make their own wands to create some special magic, during Anh Do Month they tried their hand at painting a portrait and most recently, during Dog month, they got to read to some very special dogs.

Special thanks to Naomi Flemming from Mt Barker Dogs for bringing Faith, Ashling and Captain in to read with our Book Club.  The dogs were very well behaved and enjoyed their pats, chats and tales.
