On Thursday 18 May, Jally Entertainment performed a classic story with a twist to the Plantagenet District Hall. Snowy and The Seven Cool Dudes entertained over 180 students from Kendenup Primary School and the Mount Barker Community College, rocking the Hall during the engaging and interactive performance.
The play delivered clever messages of healthy food choices and the benefits of exercise, wrapped in the thrilling story of Snowy’s escape from the evil queen and her adventures in the forest.
The Show won Best Kids & Family Award at the Adelaide Fringe Festival earlier this year. It is based on a book of the same name, written by A.J. Bailey, which is available at the Mount Barker Public Library for anyone who wants to enjoy the story.
Charmaine Gadenne, Manager Corporate Services at Kendenup Primary School, said ‘Thanks so much for organising this for the children, they absolutely loved it!!’
Alli from Jally Entertainment, aka The Queen, said ‘the crew had a blast and the feedback was great!’
Special thanks to Paul Richie for providing technical support and assisting with the set up and pack up.
