WA Plan for Plastics came into effect June 2021 and since then, WA Government continues to roll out a number of changes in relation to the supply of plastic items.
From 1 March this year it will be illegal to supply disposable coffee cups and all plastic cup lids as well as disposable plastic trays for takeaway or eat-in food.
The WA Plan for Plastics Single-Use Plastic Bans 2022-25 is a comprehensive guide for the following groups:
- Retail or hospitality businesses
- Manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and wholesalers
- Community groups and not-for-profit organisations.
