Libraries
The Shire has two libraries containing a variety of books, videos, audiotapes and computer CD's (both fiction and non-fiction), available for borrowing. The libraries also have Encyclopaedias and other reference material that must be viewed in the library.
There is no charge for membership.
Charges for the use of computers, internet and printers/photocopiers apply.
Mount Barker Library
The Mount Barker Library is located in the Community Resource Centre, Lowood Road, Mount Barker.
