Our Shire is growing and we are seeking a qualified Environmental Health Officer to join us on a casual or contract basis.
The primary focus of the Environmental Health Officer role is to complete inspections of food premises, public buildings, events, caravan parks and other licensed premises to ensure that regulatory requirements are met. Other environmental and public health tasks may also be required from time to time and including leave backfill.
The Environmental Health Officer position reports to our Manager Planning & Development Services and acts under the direction of our Principal Environmental Health Officer.

Competitive conditions of employment are offered including an hourly rate of between $52.72 and $66.14 depending on experience, and 12% superannuation with a matching superannuation co-contribution of up to 5%.
