Mount Barker Memorial Swimming Pool

Located on the corner of Albany Highway and Mead Street, the Mount Barker Memorial Swimming Pool is open annually from November to April. 

Facilities include a 50-metre pool, baby and toddler's pool, shade, free barbeque, half basketball court and kiosk. The pool caters for unstructured swimming and organised activities including swimming lessons, swimming club, carnivals and other events.

Five years and under: free (must be accompanied by a swimming, paying, responsible guardian over the age of 18 years).

Adults: $6

Concession (student, aged pension, health care card and seniors card): $4

Swimming lessons and carnivals: $3

Spectators: free

Season pass: available to purchase at the Mount Barker Memorial Swimming Pool

Family (for people): $320 (additional family members $35)

Adult: $150

Concession (student, aged pension, health care card and seniors card): $100

Half season pass: available from Feb 1 at the Mount Barker Memorial Swimming Pool

Family (for people): $192 (additional family members $21)

Adult: $90

After-hours group bookings (per hour): $100

Operating hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm. Weekends and public holidays: 12:00pm-6:00pm. Morning laps: 6:30am-9:00am. Evening laps: 6:00pm-6:30pm.

Mount Barker Memorial Swimming Pool revised Master Plan and Preliminary Design 2024

The Council adopted a revised Master Plan and Preliminary Design Plan for the Mount Barker Swimming Pool redevelopment at the December Council meeting.

Stage 1B comprises a learn to swim pool, splash pool, new plant, filtration, water treatment infrastructure and heating, and minor landscaping. Stage 2 comprises a new 50-metre pool.
