The Shire of Plantagenet is looking to bolster its Planning and Development Services. We are one of the fastest growing Local Governments in the Great Southern Region and population growth has highlighted the need to review the full planning framework to better plan for the expected continued growth for the future. To achieve this, the Shire has identified the need to further resource the Planning and Development Services team and grow the team in line with the population growth being experienced.
Located in Mount Barker in Western Australia’s Great Southern Region, and encompassing the communities of Kendenup, Narrikup, Rocky Gully and Porongurup the Shire of Plantagenet is home to outstanding wineries, the Porongurup Range, National Parks and unique natural attractions.
Competitive conditions of employment are offered including salary up to $120,000, vehicle allowance and 12% superannuation with a matching co-contribution of up to 5%. The Shire has flexible and hybrid working arrangements available for the right applicant.
