October is WA Bike Month, Western Australia’s annual celebration of bike riding. People of all ages and abilities are encouraged to ride bikes for transport, fun and a healthier lifestyle.
The Shire of Plantagenet is launching a new initiative for Bike Month, called Bike Hike Plantagenet, to inspire you and your family/friends to give bike riding a go.
This is how it works:
Step 1:
Get on your bike(s) and ride to the following locations:
|
- O'Neill Trail, Mount Barker entry (see Map)
- Bike Repair Station, Wilson Park, Mount Barker (see Map)
- Kendenup Skate Park, Kendenup (see Map)
* Please note that trail accessibility may be subject to weather conditions
|
Step 2:
Take a picture of yourself in front of the Bike Hike Plantagenet sign. There are three different rides for you to enjoy, each with its own Bike Hike Plantagenet sign. You will need to complete a minimum of two different rides to be eligible for the draw.
|
|
Step 3:
Once you have completed a minimum of two different rides, submit your photographic evidence to [email protected] .
Please include your name and contact details to go in a draw to win a $200 Duggins Shop Voucher.
