The Shire of Plantagenet is seeking an experienced finance professional who has a passion for continual improvement to lead the finance team and undertake the accounting and financial management functions of the Shire.
Located in Mount Barker in Western Australia’s Great Southern Region, and encompassing the communities of Kendenup, Narrikup, Rocky Gully and Porongurup, the Shire of Plantagenet is home to outstanding wineries, the Porongurup Range, National Parks and unique natural attractions.
We are looking for a person with demonstrated experience in a senior local government financial management role with the ability to lead and make a difference.
Competitive conditions of employment are offered including a cash salary of up to $125,000, private use of a motor vehicle and 12% superannuation with a matching co-contribution of up to 5%.
