The Shire of Plantagenet is seeking to appoint a Tip Operator/Waste Support Officer. The successful applicant will operate plant machinery to effectively manage transfer station and landfill operations and provide relief to permanent staff at the Shire’s various waste facility sites.
This is a part-time position which reports to the Waste Officer. The hours of work will be 18 hours per fortnight based on Thursdays, with the potential for additional hours across the week inclusive of some Saturday and Sunday shifts. Previous experience in the operation of a waste transfer station facility is desirable but not essential.
Salary: $35.85 per hour
