Have your say on Draft Local Planning Policy #6

The Shire’s Town Planning Policy #21 has been reviewed and is proposed to be replaced with Draft Local Planning Policy #6.

The proposed changes aim to simplify the policy and reduce approval requirements.

The draft policy sets out ‘acceptable development standards’ – proposed water tanks that meet these standards can be built without the need for planning approval.

The draft policy introduces assessment criteria for situations where planning approval is required.
