 Working under the direction of the Community Safety Coordinator, you will help keep community safety services running smoothly through accurate records, helpful customer service, meeting coordination and reliable follow-up. The Shire of Plantagenet is seeking a practical, community-minded Ranger to join our Development and Regulatory Services team in a permanent part-time role at 0.5 FTE. Help support community safety, responsible animal ownership and local amenity through education and fair, consistent compliance across our townsites and rural communities.

This varied role combines proactive patrols, animal management and complaint investigations with practical advice to the community. You may be responding to a roaming dog, inspecting a firebreak, investigating litter or illegal dumping, managing stock on public land, or helping residents understand local law requirements.
